  • My counselling room is situated in peaceful South Devon countryside, near Rattery, TQ10 9LH. just over 1 mile from A38. It lies a few miles from Buckfastleigh, South Brent, Ashburton, Dartington and Totnes and roughly 25 miles from Exeter and Plymouth.

  • Sessions are usually 60-75 minutes in length. The initial session may last up to 90 minutes because I like to ensure we do some effective work from session one.

Couples sessions where both partners are present may be a little longer.

  • HG is a brief therapy: we may complete our work in one session or several.

Our sessions will proceed at the pace that suits your progress. We may see each other weekly for a couple of sessions, then leave longer gaps while new ideas and patterns work their way through into your daily life.

Appointments are made on a session by session basis: you will not be asked to commit to weekly or a lengthy course of sessions.

Different goals may arise, so the door remains open for further work.

  • You will need a car to get here and there is ample parking. I will email directions once we have agreed to work together.

    • If subpoenaed by a court of law.

    • If I felt you were engaged in serious criminal activity .
